delta simulate only for trx datasource only ?

Hello BW Experts,

delta simulation is only possible for the transaction datasource. what is the difference in the working of the transaction datasource and the master datasource

Suggestions appreciated.

Hi ,

Yes , delta update is only for transaction data because of 2 reasons .

1. Frequency of change ( i.e daily )

2. Volume of data ( in 1000's)

Hence the changes in the master data is very rare it always be done as a full upload.
