S_ALR_87012936 not showing all the months

Former Member

Hello,

we are using S_ALR_87012936 For Fixed Assests - Depreciation Simulation for local depreciation area. However, instead of seeing depreciation for individual months, theres is a cumulative sum in January - all 12 months are summed up into one column/month only. Did anyone else have this kind of problem before?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Sanju,

I have checked the setup according to your suggestion and my setup is identical to what you have posted, thus unfortunantely, this is not the issue either.

Thank you very much though,

Hi Alena,

Click on highlighted button in the report.

Then it will extend the selection screen, here you can find below screen.

If you select month option, then you will get month wise depreciation in the output of the report.

Hi Mukthar,

thank you for the reply, however I had it set up this way from the beginning and unfortunantely even though the evaluation period is set up to Month, there is amount only in January :-(. I have checked layout setups as well, and it does not work either.

Hi Alena,

What is the reporting period?

Hi Mukthar,

that actually might be the problem 🙂 the reporting period is 2015, reporting date 31.12.2015. I ran the same for 2016 and the error does not appear there.

Which would mean S_ALR_87012936 cannot be used for past periods...  I will have to find a different report for that.

Thank you very much 🙂

Hi Alena,

No you can use it for past or future period also. But it depends on the reporting date. If you input as 31.12.2015, then it will display all periods of the year.

Hi Mukthar,

I had the 31.12.2015 date there and the entire sum for the year went to January month while the other month column are visible but blank.

Would it be any useful?

You need to give a date which is the year end of the future years.

Need to select the Month / Year radio button depending on your requirement.

Hi Ravi,

yes, for future years it looks to work fine. The possibility of displaying the same for past periods in this report seems to be the problemm.

This should also work for previous years.

Your reporting date must be the end date of the previous fiscal years and "month" must have been selected.

I could check on my system and there is no underlying configuration for this.

Please change your layout and bring the column you would. It would give you all 12 months. The problem is with your layout fields.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunantely, this does not seem to be the problem. The layout contains all the months columns (1-12) but 2-12 are empty and the entire sum goes to (1).
