Hi,

I have problems launching sap mmc.

when I try http: // <hostname>: 50013, it does not work (my NR is 00).

DB and SAP instances are started.

But when I do a "netstat | grep 50013" I have no result.

Any idea?

Thanks

Regards.

Hello Akhavan,

Could be because of browser. Check below link?

Starting the SAP Management Console - SAP Management Console - SAP Library

Can you telnet hostname 50013 from the client host.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your help.

There was a problem with our firewall.

Now i can reach sapmc on my server but i've another problem with saplogon.

I've looked in /etc/services and the port 3200 is existing.

any other idea?

Thank you very much

Hello Akhavan,

Check your system's dispatcher port using from SAPMC Access Points and try running telnet to that port using below command.

telnet hostname 3200

If there is no problem you could have connnected to the system with SAP GUI.

Hello Akhavan,

This is your ASCS Instance with number 02.

What about PAS (Primary Application Server) Instance with number 00. Can you check Process List of 00 instance and check dispatcher is running (green)?

Since telnet is not working, either there is firewall or the dispatcher service on PAS instance host is not runnning.

Hi,

Go to RUN -->services.msc and check if SAP<SID>_<instance number> service is running or not.

Usually after changes, password got initialized and need to put again in properties of service.

Hello,

Please share the output of the command "ps -ef | grep sapstartsrv".

In addition, share the "sapstartsrv.log" file that is located at the "work" folder of your instance 00.

The dev_rfc trace entries are not (directly) related to the SAP MMC issue.

Have you performed the telnet test mentioned by ?

Since you also have these dev_rfc issues, it would seem that a firewall is blocking the connection to the SAP ports.
