Fund Center is not derived or inherited in case of withholding tax at the payment

Hi Experts

I have an issue with the tax line "withholding tax" during the outgoing payment, FM is active and the derivation is working properly, i understand that the tax line will inherit the FM Fund Center, i also excluded the withholding tax from the derivation strategy

system issue an error message

No funds center entered/derived in item 00003 (QA00/3326000/)

Message no. FI313

is any one faced this issue before

The thing is that SAP didn't mention anything about Withholding tax where in the payment stage there is no expense or revenue line to inherit the FM account assignment

I'm asking why did you exclude tax from derivation? What did you do that FC derive in tax item, e.g. customize document splitting?

Yes from document splitting, I expected that the behavior of sales tax and purchase will be same for the withholding tax

also i tried to included the withholding tax account in the derivation and execute the payment again, but system issue another error message FMUP 127

Is there a special splitting customization with regard to withholding tax ?

Hi, check if splitting customized correctly (tax item could derives FC from REBZG field or via clearing).

Also there is customazation in FM area (in SPRO, Public sector-Integration -Other settings) which prevent overwriting of FM's account assignments in splitting, it's check box, just read help in this customazing
