How to show the latest time stamp in BEx report?

Hello Gurus,

We have a Production issue. We have a multiprovider with couple of underlying infoproviders. Both the infoproviders are loaded at different times. When a user runs a query based on that multiprovider it shows old time stamp in the Bex analyzer, but we want to have latest time stamp (newest time on which any of the infoproviders are loaded). Please help if anyone has an idea on how to accomplish this.

Thanks

RJ

    Hi

I analysed the issue and found below methods for displaying latest timestamp in the Queries.

Value of the ‘Text element’ which shows the field “ Status of Data” of Workbook should be changed from "Display Status Data" to "Display Status Data To" and then save the settings

    .

This can be implemented in 2 ways

    1. For Each User

    2. .Globally for all users –

We can change the Global Setting in Bex analyzer so that all the queries will show the Latest Timestamp

The issue we are facing now is the changes are getting reflected only to

to the query run through Bex and newly created query as well as Workbooks. It is not getting reflected to the existing workbooks. For that we have to manually make the changes to each workbook. Can someone please help us on how to reflect the change for the existing workbooks at one go

    .

    Regards,

    Anoop
