Simpler BI Launchpad customisation

Is there an easier way to customise the BI Launchpad without running the installation files?

I'm looking for some quick wins - e.g. setting the default icon, colours, etc.

I am using BO 4.1.

Thank you for your reply, Noel.

I should have been clearer about my request. I do have this tutorial. It requires running the installation files (after repackaging). It's not only complicated but also risky. The BO install was done by a third party.I was hoping to get some quick wins, like changing the default logo from SAP to company logo, etc. Unfortunately, I can't find any suggestions other than this big tutorial.

If it is so you should have done OEM customization here.

Refer here for high level information https://www.asug.com/discussions/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadBody/40049-102-1-58064/0513%20Make%20It...

You can also get complete information here (Please noe this is for OEM partners alone)

Did you actually try to use this tutorial? Could you give me a simple answer? How do I change the default logo in 4.1?!

The suported way is to use OEM customization. You need to modify the InfoViewBranding.jar and redeploy the BOE web service.

An easier but unsupported way is described in SAP KBA: 1659690 - BI 4.x - How to modify BI Launchpad and CMC login page to show company logo?
