LSMW - Specify Files - Legacy System Issue

Former Member

Hi,

In the Step - Specify Files in LSMW, I am unable to select source file from the drive.

In the legacy data, when I search for source file and try to select/open. The 'File' field does not get updated with the path of the source file.

What can be the reason behind this?

Thanks,

at which knot do you operate?

legacy data on PC  or legacy data on application server?

PC usually works, has just some delay to show the entire path after the selection before you hit enter, but if you hit enter then you will get the full path even it was not shown before.

For legacy data on the application server does the search help not work if you have an environment with multiple application servers. In case there is only one application server you can maintain this server in a table and then the F4 will work. Don't ask me about this table, I found it via debugging, but as we have quite many application servers I could not make use of this function, so I removed this table name from my mind to have space for more meaningful things
