Hierarchy is not being accepted

I am trying to follow an SAP youtube video, but the hierarchy I built doesn't seem to be accepted.

I must be missing something ...

In the video I also have 3 entries with 3 the same parents

Kind Regards,

Denis

Hi Denis, I tried creating the same model using the same data and it's working fine for me... Is this confidential data? Would you mind doing an export so we can see what's going on?

    Hi Denis,

    Your first screenshot looks correct.

Did you ever have a member called "12" in your dimension ?

Usually if there is an invalid member it becomes high-lighted red.

    i.e.

Can you clear out the dimension, save it, and re-create it?

Try to copy what you have out to Notepad and then paste it back from Notepad.

Also how did you create the DS_Accounts dimension? Manually or imported from a file?

I don't see the other account properties such as scale, formula, etc.

    Thanks,

    • Thank you John,

I once had a member with ID 12, but then renamed it to H12, but that didn't change anything.

I typed all the data in manually.

As I couldn't save the model, I had to restart. This morning it seems that the build version was changed to 1.0.30 and now I have a licensing issue with EPM while recreating the model. A different problem altogether.

Once it's working again, I am assuming re-creating the model will work.

      Regards,

      Denis
