We are planning for starting the monitoring from CMC
May I know which are the critical services need to be monitored?
Any suggestions.. will be more helpful.

If you look at monitoring, most of them self explanatory. Which ever one you think is critical for your business, you can setup monitoring.
I would suggest server stop state is most critical one for CMS, or WEBI processing servers.

Simply, you can configure email notifications for failure of important schedules. This will help to get notified if any the critical schedules fail.

The usual services being monitored are the CMS, IFRS, OFRS , Connection servers (32 and 64).
Other than the other 4 depending on the type of reporting being performed you can priortize the monitoring of the servers accordingly.
