Work Manager 6.3 - iOS Offline Maps

Hi,

I've currently got an issue when trying to cache a base map within Work Manager 6.3

Steps to recreate -

1. Open the settings and select the base map/level required and click "Cache Maps"

2. Agentry starts to prepare for "downloading maps"

3. After approx 2 minutes it fails with the below error message -

Are there any additional configuration tasks required to get the Offline ESRI Maps working?

I couldn't find any errors in the iOS logs.

Versions -

iOS 8.1

Agentry - v70.10.7.8

EAM SDK 2.0

Work Manager 6.3

Thanks,

Stephen

The relevant configuration is below -

The same issue is happening with the WPF client -

I tested this today using my WPF client and it worked as expected for me.   I did have to select the base map I wanted to cache before I was able to initiate the caching.

This is working now. The incorrect base map URLs had been specified.

The base map URLs shown in my earlier screenshot don't support offline caching.

Cheers,

Yeah, using basemaps that are enabled for caching is key.  Are you using the public maps?  Did you happen to find one that goes to street level that supports caching by chance?

Yes currently we're using the public basemaps ones offered by ESRI.

We did see the sample street service which supports caching -

http://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/World_Street_Map/MapServer

however it only goes to Level 10. It was useful validating that the offline is working though.

Yeah I was hoping to find one that went to a lower level and was still cachable.

Thanks and I am glad it is working now.
