Smartform print symbol issue

Hi ABAP experts,

There is a Smartform in Quality system, and it can normal display the symbol ℃ (degree centigrade). But when the TRs transporte Production system, the symbol ℃ (degree centigrade) cannot be displayed, it becomes symbol ##. The example as following:

Could you please give me some advises to solve this issue? Thank you.

Hello Steve,

Are you using a different device type in production system?
check the output device in SPAD, change the device type to SWINCF and see if it helps.

Hi Steve,

how is the data transported to the production system? Using RFC? If yes, what codepage is used for the RFC? I would assume that if both systems are Unicode, there should not be any problem. Perhaps only a wrong configuration of the RFC destination in SM59.
