HANA Input Parameter/ Variable not showing in BO(Information Design Tool) - BO 4.1 SP7

Hi Experts,

I am facing an issue in BusinessObjects/HANA.
BO platform : BO 4.1 SP7
HANA : SPS08

In HANA if we add an Input Parameter/Variable, it will show in BO-Information Design Tool(IDT) while refreshing structure of the Data Foundation.
But i am facing an issue that it's not showing IP/Variable in BO 4.1 Sp6 patch 1 to higher level. (Tried SP6 Patch1, SP6 Patch2 and SP7).

But it will work in BO 4.1 SP6.

So we have a doubt, is that because of the version of HANA is not compatible with the BO ? Is there any remedy by installing any patch file in BO to make it compatible or any other solution please let me know.

HANA SPS08 is supported with BI 41. SP7. It may be defect. Check with other patches of SP7, see if the issue is resolved

For SAP support, this error has been corrected in SP7 patch3.

We are going to test and let you know if it is solved.

I just tried Sp7 patch 3 and the problem still exist.

May be we have to check HANA version too.

Hi,

we are facing the same problem since Sp6 patch 1.

For existing universes, that isn't really a problem because you can uncheck checkboxes. But for new ones....

To avoid the problem, we keep IDT client in SP6. We have opened a case to SAP support.
