Validation check for "Prod. stor. location" (LGPRO)in MRP2 view,

Hi ,

Need your help

Actually need to put check against the field “prod. stor location” of MRP-2 view of material master, so that it should allow only a specific value for some required part numbers. System will check the value once input entered in the field while creation of material master / change of material master.

Also check the attached screen shot..

Kindly suggest is there any User/Customer exit available for this ?

Or any other better alternate solution

Try for BADI: BADI_MAT_F_SPEC_SEL or SMOD enhancement :MGA00001.

I have tried with SMOD enhancement: MGA00001.

And the issue has been resolved.

That's great So SMOD worked out for you, did you try with BADI?

Hello Prakash,

I have not tried the BADI which you have mentioned, just because of SMOD enhancement: MGA00001 fulfilled by requirement.

If i face any issue with MGA00001, I definitely go for that BADI.

Dear,

The "Prod. stor. location" is meant for the assignment of storage location for those materials which are produced by in-house and also for back lush purpose by your production criteria.

This mainly for production related materials only.

Hope i can under stand you are mapping this for all other stores and spares purpose.Kindly check before mapping this for other than production materials with respect to MATERIAL TYPE.
