Friends
I need to configure coupon management functionalities in CRM marketing for business.
Could you mention me coupon process as well as detailed required configuration steps ?
I need to understand and configure both internal and external clearing process. But I don't know where to start.
Thanks in Advance
Hello,
as a start I would suggest to refer to the online help:
Working with Coupon Campaigns - Campaign Management - SAP Library
Coupon Code Retrieval - Campaign Management - SAP Library

Thanks Johannes , I found the links you mentioned are useful.
But another question relating to this is those links doesn't answer directly how to create 'clearing house' for external clearing scenario.
If you or anyone mention more information on how to create clearing house and it's transaction code and all would be great help.
Regards
Hello,
basically a clearing house is nothing more than an external partner processing the coupons. In CRM this external partner is represented by a business partner. The business partner needs to be enabled for a certain product hierarchy in the following customizing:
Customer Relationship Management
Marketing
Marketing Planning and Campaign Management
Coupons
Assign Product Hierachy to Clearing House
You will then need to define the business partner as a clearing house and generate the coupon codes for a certain product category in CRM WEB UI (SAPGUI transaction CRMD_MKTPL_OFRCODE is somehow not working any more):
The coupon campaign can then be generated using that clearing house:
On releasing the campaign the coupon code is determined from the above generated codes.
I searched the SCN for further information about the whole process and found the following very useful content published by
This should help further.
best regards,
Johannes
