Good morning
In our productive system we have some parts that share raw materials. We want to produce these parts one after the other, i.e. when we produce part A, the next part we want to produce is part B. Bare in mind that part A and B are not co-products nor they have the same tool. They only share raw materials.
Is there any type of parameterization that we can use in order to achieve our objective?
Hi Carlos,
hope you are working for a discrete industry.
Create BOM for Part A & Part B through CS01 and maintain the raw materials in the BOM.
Create other master data like work center, routing
Once all the master data in place you can create production orders for Part A. Once the Part A production is completed create Production Order for Part B and continue.
Hope this helps
Thanks
Kumar

Hi,
what is the type of production you are working upon? is it make to stock or make to order?
if it is make to stock you need to enter some forecast through MD61 and then run MRP you will get planned orders automatically.
if it make to order you need to enter sales order through VA01 and then run MRP you will get planned orders automatically..
Planned orders generated after MRP can be converted to production orders.
Hope this helps
Thanks
Kumar
