( goods issue reference to other ) with movement type 261

Dear Experts

1. The Business is executing Goods Issue , via MIGO , Goods Issue against Others with movement Type 261 for Process orders .
2. When the Goods Issue is done in this way the quantity withdrawn is not updated in process order nor in COOISPI ,
3. The Business needs this quantity to be updated in process order & in COOISPI
4. In case of consumption the SFG or raw&packaging using the transaction ( goods issue reference to other ) with movement type 261 ( from zero to the actual quantity consumed) the value in this field either in the process order or in cooispi is displayed as ZERO
5. Can anyone please advice

Hi Mohd

Can you provide the screen shot of Documented Goods Movement of Process Order.

Please check in goods Movement field it should be 1 (Planned Goods Movement).

In order to achieve:  "3. The Business needs this quantity to be updated in process order & in COOISPI" you should perform the GI against Order instead of against Other.

In MIGO enter this data:

Action                      : Good Issue (A07)

Reference document : Order  (R08)

Order number            : Process order number

In detail section SAP will show the process orders components.

can you please check the transaction again. if its MIGO than the withdrawn qty will display in cooispi.

but if its with mb1a then it will not display.

Thats not true.

Not the transaction decide if data is updated in COOISPI.

COOISPI display the information of an order, so you need to post goods movements in reference to an order / reservation

MIGO can post goods movements with or without reference to order so you cannot say if it was posted with MIGO than COOISPI is updated.

when you update by migo it will take the components from production order. in that case it will display in the coois screen, which i posted above.

but if you just consume the components in MB1A with reference to order then it will not update withdrawn qty in order or coois. for that you issue with reference to order button.

if the user has issued it correctly with migo then it should be displayed in production order and coois.

if you post in MIGO goods issues against others, can you please explain to me who the system should now which order is should update.

If you post in MIGO with reference to order, than COOISPI can be updated. But MB1A can also post in reference to order, for this you need to push to button 'TO order' in MB1A

Hello Tallha,

what you descripe is correct and not an error.

How should the system know which order or which reservation should be updated?! This cannot work.  If you want the process order is updated you need to post the goods movements in reference to the order / reservation.

Make sure you don't post an unplanned goods movement see KBA 1899046 for details
