Error while youtube integration in Cloud for customer solution

Hi Friends,

I have tried to integrate youtube channel and everything went fine. But I am getting an error in import run "The external service provider 'myYoutubeChannel' reported the following error: Daily Limit for Unauthenticated Use Exceeded. Continued use requires signup.".

Plz. help me why I am getting this error?

Hi Saurabh,

Looking at the YouTube channel authentication tokens, it looks like your channel is no longer being authenticated by YouTube, hence the invalid credentials error from YouTube.

This usually happens if you authenticate multiple times in C4C. YouTube sends token only the first time and when re-authentication is done from C4C side, the tokens go out of sync.

In general, authentication is a one time activity and caution should be exercised while setting this up since YouTube is very sensitive to re-authentication from the same app(in this case your C4C tenant).

Now, you will have to perform the following steps and then authenticate your channel again in C4C.

1. Go to the following link and login with your YouTube channel credentials: https://accounts.google.com/b/0/IssuedAuthSubTokens.

You will see a list of apps that currently have access to your channel, C4C client that you are using for authentication will be one of them.

Select that client and say "Remove".

This will reset the authentication agreement between your client and YouTube.

2. Login to C4C, go to your YouTube channel admin screen and click on "authenticate"

Follow the steps and save. Once done, run the import, it should work fine. Please complete the authentication process in one go and don't repeat it as that again would make the tokens go out of sync.
