error while creating user decision step

Hi Friends,

First of all, a  very very happy belated Merry Christmas and New Year. I am very new to ABAP Workflow. I am currently stuck on a new issue while designing FI parking workflow.While creating user decision step, i am getting an error Task Definition not found. I checked the forums and then found that task 8267 is present in my system.I am currently following the tutorial step by step but still the issue is cominghttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/70c047fa-e64a-2e10-fda1-9ee0f7c24.... Please go through the attachment and shed light on the issue.

There is a special customizing for the decision task.

SPRO->SAP Netweaver -> Application Server -> Business Management -> Basic Settings (Workflow system) -> Maintain Administration Data for Workflow Builder (as depicted below).

Go to the "Default values" tab page and check the parameter "Decision task". It should be equal to TS00008267 (Generic decision task). Otherwise automatic customizing is useless.

In some cases this parameter could be incorrect. For example, several days ago I faced a problem when somebody of my colleagues has replaced TS00008267 with the incorrect value.

Open the "Control" tab and check if the field "Task" is empty (see screenshot below).

Hi Saurav, Check the general decision task has been activated in the workflow configuration transaction SWU3.

Check you have workflow developer authorization, i.e. security role SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_DEVELOPER

Hi ,

You please copy the standard task ( user decision ) and make a custom task then do your changes. It is not a good practice to change in the standard task.

Regarding the error : double click the task and ensure the tick mark is there in the check box of synchronous object method and object method with dialog .
