Partial Delivery of Main item - Quantity of subitems should be calculated automatically

Dear Experts,

we use a value material for main item (relevant for delivery/confirmation).
and subitems related to the main item (as well relevant for delivery).

When we make a partial delivery of main item, the System should calculate the quantity of subitems depending on the share of the delivered quantity of the related main item.

Does anyone has experience how to meet this requirement? e.g.

main item qty. 10

subitem A: qty. 10

subitem B: qty. 20

Partial delivery of main item 5 PCs. -> Calculate automatically:

Subitem A: 5pcs. Subitem B: 10 PCs.

Dear Mr. Lakshmipathi, I tested according to your recommendation.

Even with same delivery date, no Change of qty. of subitems in the delivery. When I create the delivery with VL01N I only can select items, but no partial quantity. So the full quantity is copied to the delivery and has to be adapted there item by item.

Do you have a way how to copy only partial quantity to the delivery and subitem qty. depending on qty. of main item?

Standard functionality is if you change the quantity of the main item and the Requested Delivery Date is same for both header and components, then system will take care of the quantity. Else, there wont be any change.
