how to get back data models which are already there in system

data models whch are there in previous versions and running from past days how to get back ...as recent version 1508 relased upgraded new version data models now how to see old data models...ware can have info for this or any process  for this how to get back can some one help on this ?

which data models you are referring to? in Employee Central?

No Data models are replaced as part of upgrade, Right now, release is 1511.

There is no part to recover data model, only available is in provisioning.

yes you can get the current being used from provisioning ie import and export,

We usually ask teh customer to keep backup of their modified SDM

if not standard ones can be downloaded from the sharepoint portal, you ll get the link from EC guides etc.
