How can I automatically determine Responsible Employee from
1) CRM ID / Business Partner number
2) Organisation data
Note: Responsible Employee is needed NOT employee responsible
Please help.
Thanks & Regards,
Anshita
Hi Anshita
Kindly go through partner determination procedure (PDP) for determining the responsible business partners based on the transaction type. This PDP has some partner functions and each have an access sequence

Hi Anshita
Below are the steps to be done to assign the access sequence.
1. Identify the PDP for the transaction type
2. Out of the listed partner functions available for the PDP, find the required partner function in that PDP
3. Assign this CH08 access sequence to that partner function.
Save and check the transaction

Hi Anshita,
Sorry for late reply, you are talking about two things:
1. Partner Function: For Partner determination, you need Partner Determination procedure (PDP). in which you assign "Access sequence". you have already got the access sequence which you can assign in your PDP for required Partner Function.
2. Organisation Responsible: To determine particular Organisation in your transaction type, you need one Organisation Determination Procedure (ODP), which has to be assigned in your transaction type.
This ODP will be containing "Rule" not access sequence to determine particular Organization.
This was the basics.
You can use "CH08" to find particular Partner function. but you need to make us understand that how do you want (On which basis) to determine your Organisation unit?
Best regards,
Dinesh
