SSO between two portals

Hi All,

I need to implement SSO between two EP (A and B) with SAP Logon Tickets.

User can login into <u><b>Portal A</b></u> and then access a link in <u><b>Portal B</b></u> without need to enter login and password.

AND

User can also login into <u><b>Portal B</b></u> and then access a link in <u><b>Portal A</b></u> without need to enter login and password.

Is it possible? How?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I think it is possible if we have the same source for UM.

Please check http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/89/6eb8deaf2f11d5993700508b6b8b11/frameset.htm

Hi Mahesh,

Thenks for your response. But I don't think they will have the same UM, I know User Mapping is always an alternative, but is that possible to implement SSO with SAP Logon Tickets?

Hi,

This is fully functional if

1) User names are identical in portal A and B

or

2) User name in reference system in portal A matches use user names in portal B and User name in reference system in portal B matches use user names in portal A

Basically all you need to do is to setup SSO with SAP logon tickets as described in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/94/f2503ede925441e10000000a114084/frameset.htm

(disclaimer, have never done this)
