problem in translation

Hi

I need to change the word "Internal Processing" when creating new activity in a project. I did anything that I knew but it didn't affect.

Can anyone help me?

Problem solved. Finally I translate the term with help of technical. I found it here:

Function Module: CO2O_ACT_SET_DESCRIPTION

Hi Soma,

your requirement does not make an sense like it should be internal processing 0010 instead of int. processing 0010 activity description should be based on it's task which you can achieve by overwriting on this activity description.

That's a business requirement and I know this isn't a standard work but I should do that.

Now I'm trying to use translation but It has no effect on this part and change the others. I want to know the name of program, screen, GUI or any other technical point that I can achieve to this word.

Hi Soma,

if you create and do not enter description than system will pick name as combination of Int. processing + activity number.

this is SAP Standard.

I know that this is the standard process of system. I need to change the word "Internal Processing"  to "activity" in all the screens. I know if we type another thing, it will change but I want to change the default word.

Hi Soma,

This is SAP Standard, so its not recommended to change any SAP Standard. if you need this than check with ABAP person if this is possible without changing Standard by any program while saving WBS/Network.

i dont think that SAP has given any User exit for this.

please check with ABAP Person.

If this is a business requirement, you need to break the SAP standard logic. Check with your Technical person to do it.

Hi Soma,

System by default provide this nomenclature if you don't mention activity description while creating the internal activity. Same way if you add general cost activity without mentioning activity description then system will name it as "Costs 0010".

You can easily overwrite it, what is the problem in that?
