Hello everyone,
We are using the following SAP program RPCSC000 in order to split our Payroll jobs in several jobs. After the installation of the SP92, for the last 2 runs we have a major issue: 4 jobs are running in the previous Payroll period ( and of course are falling) and 2 jobs are running in the current period ( which is correct). We checked all the Payroll tables with the Payroll periods and all the variants and everything seems to be ok. Does anyone is aware of this issue? (it's quite urgent).
Thanks,
Ionut

We had this same issue with our last payroll run of the year after applying CLC's 91/92. If you apply OSS note 2187381 it will resolve the issue. I still don't understand why this was needed, but we applied the note and no longer have the issue.

Hello!
We are ECC604 EHP5 level 92:
I believe it happens in scenario for background jobs:
When program RPUPRC00 in background is releasing control record from exit or correction status to the "release for payroll" and as dependent jobs immediately triggers payroll driver program RPCALC*0 for live payroll run.
At this point even control record is released by RPUPRC00 for payroll. According to SAP buffer sync might take up to 2 minutes. That's why for payroll driver program RPCALC*0 once release as dependent jobs status still unchanged and payroll still reads previous payroll control record setting.
As per OSS 2187381 - Payroll area: Incorrect status in payroll programs:
However, the buffer synchronization is delayed by default (execution approximately every two minutes).
Andrey
