Web Sitewith Visual Studio 2005 and Crystal Reports is not running

Hello:

I have an old Web Site developed with Visual Studio 2005 and Crystal Reports. It is working fine in a Windows 2008 Server but we need to change it to a Windows 2012 Server: We have been testing and everything works fine but when the user tries to run a report the Application Pool is stopped.

I know that it's a not longer supported version of Crystal Reports and Visual Studio but I want to know if there's anyway to make it works

The assumption here is that the app is using the version of CR that shipped with VS 2005 (that would be CR 10.2). This version did not support WIN 2012. See this wiki for more details:

You have two options:

1) Upgrade the CR runtime to one that supports WIN 2012. Theoretically that could be CR 2008. And I have no idea if CR 2008 can still be purchased - if this is an option for you, contact sales at; 1-800-677-7271 or 1 412 3607869

2) Download "SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET" (CRVS) and use that with VS 2010 or later - not with VS 2005(!!). E.g.; you'd have to update your whole app to VS 2010 or later. CRVS can be downloaded for free from here:
