No Fiori Launchpad Logon Screen

Former Member

Hello Fiori experts,

There are a lot of topics regarding the Fiori Launchpad Screen on SCN, but in my opinion i have an issue which is not covered so far.

So coming to my problem. I have followed all configuration steps on help.sap.com for configuring the fiori launchpad.Unfortunately, wenn i call the fiori launchpad i get the following authorization request (sorry it is in German):

Once i give in my credentials i see my Launchpad (at the moment empty, as it is not configured).

The Launchpad Designer Logon Screen is working perfectly, so i see the typical standard fiori logon page.

In TX sicf i have maintained the Custom Logon Page Implementation class:

I have cleared the following caches:

  • Browser cache
  • SMICM
  • /IWBEP/CACHE_CLEANUP
  • /IWFND/CACHE_CLEANUP

I hope someone can help,

Thanks,

Wladimir

Hi Wladmir;

Check whether any external alias is created for ushell service.

In SICF service itself, you have an option to see the external aliases.

Also,Try giving some other class name like "CL_ICF_SYSTEM_LOGIN" and see whether this takes any effect.

Also check the sicf settings for the service "arsrvc_upb_admn".(launchpad designer)

Hi Sarbjeet,

Thanks for your reply.

I have checked for any external alias. Nothing maintained.

When trying to change the class name in the ushell service i get the following message:

The SICF service arsrvc_upb_admn looks fine for me:

Launchad Designer opens perfectly in the typical layout.

Any further idea?

Thanks,

Wladimir

Hi Wladimir;

Try checking the SAP Implementation radio button as below and see if it gives Standard SAP logon screen instead of popup.

Hi Wladmir;

Could you please try deactivating the service ushell by right clicking on it in SICF and then see if you get the error that service not available.

Also could you please share the external aliases screenshot if possible.

Hi Sarbjeet,

i have deactivated the service and i still get the popup. I guess the service is not getting called at all.

Here is the screen of the external aliases:

Actually you were right, there is a alias for ushell, but this alias was coming with the NetWeaver Installation.

Thanks,

Wladimir

I solved it Sarbjeet,

The issue was that the cache buster was active through the alias and that the service /default_host/sap/bc/ui2/flp was not having the custom login page maintained.

I changed that and now i see the login page

Thanks for your support so far!
