How to know latest timestamp and which field is used for delta field 0BBP_TD_PO_1

Hi Mates,

For 0BBP_TD_PO_1(SRM), what is the delta field and how to know last timestamp of delta.

I am missing records in Delta infopackage in BW.

Normally, for Standard datasouces, we check timestamp in BW0M2_TIMEST table. But in SRM, table is not existing.

If I get information about to know safety lower and upper limits of this datasource. it would be great.

Answers are appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

According to the documentation in SAP Help I do not believe that this DataSource uses a timestamp delta mechanism.

The documentation says: The DataSource supports the delta update method ‘AIMD’ (after images with deletion indicator via delta queue).

Once initialized the delta records should be pushed in the RSA7 delta queue directly. Please check.

Best regards,

Sander

Hi Willigen,

Thanks for reply.

But I can not see any records in RSA7 also.

Normally, as I know standard datasources work on timestamp field for delta mechanism.

Hi,

There is not a single delta mechanism which works with a timestamp. This delta mechanism is usually used with Financial DataSources. Logistics' DataSources use the Logistics Cockpit.

Some deltas are directly pushed to the RSA7 delta queue. Others have a safety time (e.g. 2 hours before records are extracted, e.g. Controlling DataSources). Sometimes there is an intermediate SMQ1 queue.

In other words delta processing and delta management is a complicated topic. There are various delta mechanisms which are carefully chosen by the source application.

You can have a look in table ROOSOURCE for all DataSources and their delta mechanism. Please refer to the field DELTA. In table RODELTAM you can find the settings for each delta type.

Some overview documentation around delta processes used in the various applications can be found in the following blogs:

Hi,

In addition to my previous reply, please also review SAP Note 955804 - SRM - the BI content data model has been changed. In SRM 5.0 and higher some changes to Business Content were made.

Please also review the discussion .

Best regards,

Sander
