Dear gurus
I have a doubt !!
now I need to work on RFC adapter single stack.as per my knowledge rfc adapter besides on java stack where rfc structure besides on abap stack.(in dual stack)
what about single stack?
what about monitoring ?
plz share ur knowledge !!

Yes, RFC adapter "resides" on Java Stack.
RFC structure can reside anywhere, it has nothing to do with stacks. It's just a message format, used by BAPI in R/3 systems (ABAP system). For using RFC structure in SAP PI, you used to connect corresponding SAP system in ESR and import it. Same process will be followed in single stack PI/PO ESR also.
SAP PI objects has nothing to do with stacks. ABAP and JAVA stacks come into picture when you run some configuration, scenario, process on PI/PO engine
SAP Netweawer Start page =>Configuration and Monitoring=>Monitoring (Adapter Engine)=> Communication Channel Monitoring/ Message Monitoring (web based) can be used to monitor.

Monitoring you can do in Message monitoring and channel monitoring.
And coming to importing RFC structure it is same as dual stack.Import in ESR.
