Steps to load data from SAP Business One to BW

Hi Friends,

1) Had few questions about getting data from Business One to BI. Is it similar to what we do in R/3, activate the data source (rsa5) and replicate in BI system?

2) Does SAP support with standard Business One data source which can be used in SAP BW?

3) I read there are XML data source for Business One, is there any document describing the extraction process?

Hi Sunil,

please check SAP B1 INTEGRATION FOR SAP NW (B1iSN) from the SAP Business One Software Download Center.

As part of the download you can find a preconfigured scenario package between SAP Business One and SAP BW called Management Reporting. This package contains a detailed configuration guide about the setup for both systems, too.

Management Reporting Sales Analysis (sap.MRSales) provides the headquarters with transparency about the sales activities of the subsidiaries.
Transactional sales data, such as sales orders, deliveries, and invoices are transferred from subsidiary SAP Business One systems to SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (BW). The headquarters can subsequently run regular reports to support internal decision-making. The scenario currently supports the following reports in BW:
