Dear Experts,
I overheard the discussion between my two colleagues about PO Delivey date and they are arguing with the supplier. Apprently they have different understanding of the delivery date stated in the PO.
So which one is it, ETD ot ETA?
Thanks,
Ed
Why not just looking into SAP Library- Glossary
It is very clearly stated:
delivery date (MM) |
The date on which goods are to arrive at the customer's premises.

Estimated time of departure is the time which your shipment is started.
Estimated time of arrival is the time which the goods are arrived on your warehouse.
The PO delivery date might to equal to or closer to your ETA based on your material master(PDT) and gr processing time and also the shipment determination on which the goods are arrived.
