Hi ,

We are new to TDMS . Is there any guide or instruction manual which gives a step by step description of all the options available and the usage for DTLMON transaction code.

I do not see much help when i googled it.

TDMS Operation guide provides you with the information related to DTLMON.

You just need to enter the Mass Transfer id and Access Plan ID of your TDMS package to use the t-code DTLMON.

Mass Transfer ID can be seen from the logs of the activity - Definition of Mass Transfer ID for Participating Tables activity.

In the report there are two main tabs useful for monitoring purpose .

1. Relevant Tables - Shows the total number of migration objects , defined, generated , selected ,loaded by TDMS.

2. Runtime Information - Provide more deeper information on the total number of record selected and transferred by TDMS.

Hi Rajesh,

The reason i am asking about DTLMON userguide is because it contains many features in the 'EXPERT FUNCTIONS'.

I did not find any detailed information in Operations guide.

Could you guide me where i can find more detailed information on DTLMON.

Expert Functions are only relevant for a TDMS expert and not much useful for an end user.

Between why do you need to use any of these expert functions.

Are you facing any issue with TDMS copy.  If so register a relevant SAP message with complete details.

If you want to learn in more details then you should go for TDMS 10 /20 trainings.
