How to transport secure store passwords from one client to other client?

I also have a similar issue with LDAP credentials not being transportable.   OSS note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1820707 mentioned the following: "Credentials stored in the secure storage cannot be transported between systems and must be maintained individually in all systems where they shall be used." so it appeared that  this is an 'exception' case that you would have to open the client and update the credentials manually.
