Hi..

i have marking the one material i have used the ppc1 costing variant and releasing also done and also done the standard cost estimate success fully completed.when i was using the same plant but i have taken other material and different costing variant .when i was go to ck24 it will shown marking and released status it costing variant shown the ppc1 i have used different why the system default costing variant taken

For One controlling area you can only mark and release standard cost under one costing variant..but can use plant level valuation variant.

you can maintain valuation varaint at plant level and assign to 1 single costing variant.

but i am not maintain costing variant in plant level,where we maintain the costing variant at plant level

System wont allow you to use different costing variant for the same plant once you released a price using a costing variant.

No i am using the same plant but material is different and costing variant is different system will shown the default costing variant

Hi Kittu

If both the plants are assigned in same company code, the system will allowed you to release with a single costing variant.

If your valuation strategy is different from your first plant, then create plant specific valuation variant by clicking on val var/plant on top and specify your strategy and assign your plant.

System will allow you to release with the same costing variant with different valuation strategy.
