How to copy Macros from Quality system to Development System

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I was trying to manipulate allocation procedure in the planning area when accidentally a custom planning book was deleted. I have created the planning book again, but Will it possible to import all the macros relating to the same planning book from Quality system to Development system ? If so please guide me the steps involved or please suggest any other methods for the same.

Regards,

Dinesh.

Dinesh,

As you want to move from quality to development, first of all you need to check with basis whether they have channel as destination and source accordingly for the TRs. In most of the cases it goes from development to quality.

If not, then check how many macros we are talking about. If its 5~10, just create them manually in development by referring to productive environment to avoid any inconsistency (though bit hectic but will avoid unnecessary to and fro between different teams depending upon your change management process). If required create a TR and move all till production else systems are in sync.

If answered follow else raise your concern.

Hi Dinesh,

You can use transaction /SAPAPO/TSOBJ to capture your planning book in a TR and have it moved from source to destination system. Once planning book moves to destination - all macros associated to it will also be moved.

Hope it helps.
