Best Practice Automotive V1604 EHP4 Release Strategy

Hello,

availabitily Matrix shows that above mentioned Best Practive solution is only available for EHP4.

Does anyone know if there is a release strategy to go to EHP7.

Concret question: I have a SAP Standard System Version SAP_BASIS 740 Version 0009 with a package BP-ERP 617V9 SP000 (Best Practice baseline) installed. I would like to install in parallel Best practice for automotive V1604 EHP4.

Thank you

Hello,

if a Best Practice solution doesn't support our release and country, I suggest to install the available Best Practice baseline available for our release and country first. You have done this already.

On top you can install the building block from the SAP Best Practice Automotive V1604 EhP4 which are not included in the Best Practice baseline. The Best Practices installation offers the possibility to select a building block for installation instead of complete installation of the whole Best Practices. You can also execute BC-Sets and eCATTs manually or follow the configuration guide to implement the steps manually.

Kind regards, Maria

Hello,

BP Baseline BP-ERP 617V9 is already sucessfully installed. It is not possible to install

BP-ERP604V7, this is Automotive V1604. TX saint doesn't show, offer this package for Installation.

We assume this is caused by the 'wrong' EHP package Level.

I'm able to  import Automotive V1604 XML solution file, but this doesn't help. BC Sets and SECATT runs are not present because they are included in the installation package.
