Workitem appear on UWL of other unrelated approver

Hi all,

I'm very new to Workflow, I have and issue in ESS leave approval process. The issue is, 1st the requester applies for leave and send to approver. Then, the approver rejects the leave, which is all fine but it appears in other approvers UWL which is not related or its other managers. You should know that the requester is inactive and in another case the approver is vacant. Could this be the issue? I kinda lost here.

    Hi Mohammad,

    Are you using standard leave request workflow? in that case ensure to whom the work item is forwarded, there would be definite rule for this.

    Check whether the rule resolved AGENT received the work item or not, ensure it first!

    Now you can check whether this user maintained any delegate/substitute or not in that case they would also receive the work item.

    In your case approver is vacant? are you trying to say the dialog task is without any agent?

    If possible kindly share the workflow logs for detail analysis.

    Hello,

    With workflow you can have the problem of workitems being sent to everybody if the decision task is set to General Task and no responsible agent is assigned. Is that the case here?
