batch job maintenance activities for year end

Hi all ,

Could any one please advise what would be the year end activities related to the maintenance of the FI batch jobs . Are there any activities that need to be part of the year end so that the batch jobs run without issue in the new fiscal year . Thanking you .

Hi Kris,

From functional point of view you don't need to do any year end activity  for FI batch jobs as batch jobs are already scheduled.

Maintenance of Batch jobs are required if there is any patch upgrade or EHP upgrade is taking place but this thing is done by BASIS consultant,they need to stop the batch jobs and again need to reschedule is after upgrade.

So according to my knowledge you don't need to do any year end activity for FI batch jobs,let's gurus speak on this as well.
