Dear Experts,
i have a case where i'm doing a roll out for a new company code, the issue is that the Funds management is activated but not used and the FM area is assigned to the old company but during Any FI posting in this company it does not require or need a Commitment item to be assigned to the G/l accounts.
Now for the new company code which i create by copying from the previous one, and during testing it always require a commitment item.
so is there is a way to deactivate the FM per company code, also how to check why the first company does not require a commitment item or not
Regards,
Ahmed Samir

1. Transaction SPRO -> Public Sector Management -> Funds Management Government -> Actual and Commitment Update/Integration -> Activate/Deactivate Funds Management.
and unmark both check boxes.

Hi, if FM is activated CI is required, may be you have derivation rule, or substitution, just check in documents if CI is updated.
