BRFplus How to use message variables in Help text and checks?

Hello experts.

May you help me with an example for using message variables in Help text and checks? I am trying to display in a message, information coming from output parameters of a function module.

Thanks.

    Hi,

if I understand you correctly you want to use a log message action using variables from e. g. a procedure call. The values that are returned by the procedure call will be mapped to a context variable I would assume.

The call of the log message action is depicted in the following screenshot:

In a free text message you specify the placeholders via &n (n = 1...99). In a regular message the placeholders are already predefined, when you assign the message. You can then map your context variables to the placeholders and you are done.
