SAP certification suggestion

Hi all,

I am Khadar, i live in Melbourne Australia and currently working as management accountant and have been working on SAP for just over 6 years. I have a good understanding of fixed asset module, financial accounting and working with BI as a back end user and enjoy working on SAP.

Hence i wanted to extend my knowledge in SAP and pursue my a career as a SAP consultant in near future. What interest me is the CO, BI/BW modules.

What i wanted to ask? Is FI a prerequisite? Also if anyone can guide me and point me in a right direction as to where can i go in Melbourne to enrol for a course.

Regards,

Khadar Mohammed Khan

You can refer to the following:

    Training and Certification Shop

FI may not be mandatory to learn CO, however, it is always worth to have a good understanding in FI.

There are many CO consultants who have limited FI knowledge

Limited consultants extend their skills to learn beyond ECC and go for BI/BW module. As every client is having new dimension products, it is always good idea to have minimum proficiency in BI/BW.

If you are still interested, go for BPC, being a finance professional (Business Planning and Consolidation).

Now, SAP also pushing 'Simple Finance', at least good to have overview knowledge.

    Hope this helps.
