hi

They are charging 4Lakhs for training and certification and assuring 100% placement assurance after certification. Does this benefit me in starting my career in ABAP ? Please help me out?

Dear friend,

Well, appreciate you for choosing a career in SAP as Technical Profession Area.Get in & kick start your career once you successfully certified.

Yes, ofcourse you can take up the certification if you really wish it. And, since you have grabbed the idea & basic concepts of ABAB Module, hope you can take up " On-line Training Method" it costs around Rs.2.2L instead of going for "Regular Class-Room Training" by spending 4 Lakhs.

Kindly check out with ATOS, about Online Learning Mode & do well from beginning till you become a technical associate certified profession.

Also, read the excellent document before deciding to make Certification & completion of certification doesn't assures a placement, since there are number of certified professionals hunting for a entry. You mentioned , the institue assures a job, if it is true, its favour to you. So confirm it and then go.

Regards

Mani

first of all thank you for replying and giving valuable suggestions. No matter how times i ask them about the placement after the certification they say that they will be placing me within 2 months after the certification. Can i really trust them?

Dear Sravan,

The choice is yours to trust them or not. Before joining the course, try to get the candidate's contacts who have done the course & placed by the Institute, so that you can get real situation since you are going to invest vast amount.

Now, time is completely changed, more people are at high successful without certification and same time more professionals trying keenly to get entry into SAP.

And, its time to stand unique on your own ability, just go ahead to make a certification if you really wish with the self-confident.

Hope, you have read out the document, that reveal the things beyond the certification. Try to get more reference through friends etc, who working in SAP & try to grab if opportunity comes.

Good luck

Regards

Mani

It looks like a perfect statement in this imperfect world. If they could provide 100% placement, there would not be many Certified consultants still looking for jobs. SAP Certification is not a job guarantee program.

Please note there is no guarantee, it is only assistance. You CV will be sent to the the prospective employers and they may interview you. You may need to satisfy them and they may look into many aspects like your education, soft skills, team work, cultural fit and attitude etc, not just Certification.

All the best to you.

Dear Sravan,

Good to know you.

What if they are not able to provide you the 'so called' placement? Are you able to take the risk of 4 Lakhs. Are you taking a loan? If you do not get job, are you in a position to replay it? What is the reason for joining ABAP course at such high cost? Is it only just for the purpose of job or any you have real interest on SAP? Who has suggested you to do SAP ABAP? You need to ask these questions before attending anything.

Please let me clarify there is no 100 percent placement. Please do not think SAP Certification gives you some overnight change. I am not trying to discourage you, but you should know the reality of the market with number of Certified consultants around you.

The training institute can give you only training. They cannot give certification. You need to pass the exam. I know it might not be that difficult, but you need to pass the exam.

SAP Certification training give you the knowledge. It may give you the better marketability than what you are now. It gives you the clarity to the fundamental concepts to the subject you are going to attend. However, you must set your expectation correct if you are looking for an immediate job.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Ravi
