Data fields already updated for Info source 2LIS_11_HDR with MOVE

Hi Gurus,

I have extracted data from R/3, from LIS_11_vahdr, and LIS_11_vaitm and have to load this into an ODS.

When the update rules for HDR data have been successfully generated, and when i am to go with the update rule generation for the ITM, data i am asked with a message,

Data fields already updated for Info source 2LIS_11_HDR with MOVEi have proceeded with that, and i am shoot up with an error when the data is loaded into the target.

I had tried of sending ITM data first, and for HDR the same is happening.

And I even have put the Key fileds to no update for the ones which are common to both HDR data and ITM data.

Could anybody help me, in resolving this.......

Thanks in advance,

Neel Kumar

Hi dear,

don't worry, this is only a warning message: this means that POTENTIALLY some fields loaded before by one datasource can be overwritten by the subsequent load from the other datasource...but if you are sure of your own logic in your datamodel...keep on with no fear !

Hope it helps!

Hi Sri,

I am loading the data into an ODS, this is purely meant for staging.I am sending you the mesages, i got in update rules level and the error during data load also.

Detail message at the Update rules:Data fields already updated for InfoSource 2LIS_11_VAHDR with MOVE

Message no. RSAU195

Diagnosis:Update type 'Overwrite', i.e. MOVE, was set. MOVE was also already set in other update rules for this ODS object and this key figure.

System response: If a combination of characteristics from 2 InfoSources can be overwritten, this can result in undesirable effects when updating the ODS object, because the last InfoSource to be loaded will always win.

Error during the data load:

******Data record already exists in the active table (long text) RSDRO 133 ************

Diagnosis:The key values in regard to the ODS objects in the specified data record are already available in the active table.

Data record in the activation queue:

Request: REQU_EGTAO5Z1TG3UD4U3KRGM43BXG

Data package: 000001

Data record number: 1

System response:

The key value has been loaded for the second time. The property of an ODS object of type "Overwriting of Data Records Not Permitted" does not permit overwriting of data records. Thus it is not possible to load and

activate a key value a second time.

Procedure:The request has to be deleted from the ODS object. Then change the data so that the data record is only loaded once and then load the request again. In this regard, also check whether the data record exists twice in the request becaues this will lead to an error during activation.

****Data record already exists in the active table (long text) RSDRO 133

*****Key value exists in duplicate (Not allowed by the ODS object type) RSDRO 123

*****Activation of data records from ODS object terminated RSM1 102

I have tried of deleting the loaded request once again, even then it shows the same error.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear,

maybe you have in your ODS properties the unique data function switched on...

Go into definition of your ODS and uncheck "unique data records" checkbox (the second one in settings)..

Hope it helps!

Hi Roberto,

Thanks for your response.

I have done as you directed, but, I am not able to find the selections (check marks) that I had made during the ODS creation. Why is this so, that the options are blank when I have gone to it for the second time to view.

Neel,

it's the second root in change screen of your ODS, after the status one...
