EE waives Medical Coverage..

Hi Team /Guru's,

I have a small question on Waiver..

EE may ask for a WAIVE from Medical Coverage out of the 3 Health Plans that he/she may opt (i.e Medical, Dental and Vision).

How do I address that when the user needs a report as well to identify what reason has been given to waive off the Plan. Suggested reason could be as follows:-

1. Already has coverage from Spouse's employer

2. Medicare

3. Medicaid.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

HI Gurus,

I'm proposing below process to my client...Need to be sure of the std sap process..

During Open Enrolment....

1. EE will get all eligible plans based on eligibility of the employee whether automatic/default.

2. from IT0167, if the EE wants to waive, then EE will delete the existing plans to Plans.

Outside Open Enrolment...

1. EE will only get Adjustment Reasons to modify/enrol for plans...

2. Based on the Eligibility and Adj Reason Permission, EE can modify/enrol plans.

Based on my config, I could see all eligible plans in T.Code - HRBEN0001.

However, which program should I run to enrol the EE into all the plans listed in HRBEN0001 (Screenshot attached) ?

Currently I can go individually to all plans and select ENROL to enrol the EE into plans. This process isn't feasible large employee database.

Hi Arnav,

Can't you try to maintain this data in IT0167 on additional data tab for an employee. Although its just text information. Run queries to fetch this info for user reports or you can also code a small abap prog.

Thanks,
Ashish

Hi Ashish,

Thanks for your reply...

Benefits is a new area for me and have been exploring all throughout. Would appreciate if you could give me a li'l more detailed approach. A little more explained version pls.

So, I'm asking if an EE wants to waive off medical coverage but as per his/her eligibility, EE has already been enrolled into the plan through the auto-enrollment Program.

What should be the correct/easy/standard process that can be implemented...?

Best Regards,
