BW Statistics Cubes

Hi,

We recently activated the Technical Content in BW Production client. (BW Statistics Cubes)

When I run the standard technical content queries for the historical data, it's giving some data.

But, I am not sure if the historical data is correct or not. Is it that, the statistics data will be collected into the Statistics tables RSDDSTAT, RSDDAGGR etc; once the technical content is activated in BW?

Or is it when we check the OLAP/WHM check boxes in the Administrator Workbench -> Tools -> BW Statistics for Infoproviders...the tables start collecting the statistics data for those selected infocubes?

Or is it something to do with the DB statistics under the Performance tab of Manage data targets?

I am confused...when and how these statistics data is being collected into the tables...pls explain..

hi Sai,

statistics data will be collected to tables rsdd* for infoproviders that checked in awb->Administrator Workbench -> Tools -> BW Statistics for Infoproviders regardless technical content activated or not.

activate technical content and schedule infopackage to upload will extract the data from that tables to the technical content infocubes.
