UWL Exception

Hi Experts,

While clicking a task from UWL in portal an exception is getting " user is missing exception in connecting to....". This is happening for only one user. Can i know how can i fix that? Kindly let me know if this is due to any role or group missing from backend system? If so, the group required for the same.

Hi,

Please check if user password is expired or not. Reset the password in system where you are getting error in UWL and try again.

Hi Shiny,

Check whether the user is part of everyone user group in portal,he has permission to access the system object SCMDASHR3.Is the portal user is maintained in the backend properly?

Check any personalization done by this user at the iview level.

Thank you for the reply. User is having everyone user group in portal. Can you tell me what permission is required to access the sytem object? i meant the role or group name from portal or backend?

HI,

If you want to check permissions of System object then select system object and open permission tab of that system object in portal. You'll get list of assigned users,roles and assigned groups to particular system object.

If permission of EVERYONE group is not assigned then you need to add it manually into portal.

And check EVERYONE group is assigned to End-user or not at portal side.

Can you please refer to the below KBA's and follow the steps given under the resolution section of the

documents. The below KBA's deals with the similar issue as to what you are facing .

2161251 - Error "User is missing credentials for connecting to alias " throw out for WebFlowConnector

1939438 - "User is missing credentials..." error while registering a connector within UWL

Hi Santarshi,

I have referred to above mentioned KBA, but every where it mentioned about the connectivity from portal to backend. If that  is the case it should happen for all users, but in my case it is happening for single user.

Can you please check User profile in back-end (SU01)?

Productive Password is activated and Validity are maintained or not.

Hi Shiny,

Please check if the user is assigned with appropriate role in SCMDASHR3 to access UWL RFC destinations.

You would need to check if role: SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_UWL_END_USER is assigned to the user.
