Error in SMW01 Combination of Partner and Function occur more than Once

Hi All,

There is a lot of Error in SMW01 with error Message

1)Combination of Partner and Function occur more than Once

2)Error When Creating objects.

3)Error when Creating products from Equipment Bdoc

4)Error calling the Upload BADI:METHOD perform:BADI

If any one has faced this issue in past and how to rectify it..

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated

I had started looking into error again and wanted to know where exactly the changes needs to be done.. For Ship to party for 1 to to 2..

Hello Prakash,

You could change the customizing in spro-> crm -> basic functions -> partner processing -> define partner determination procedure, choose the one entry you are using, then select "partner functions in procedure".

We just Checked one of the equipment and found it has only One ship to party assigned to it..

I mean Error in SMW01>>>>Error in R3AD_CS_EQU>>>>

Partner function Ship-To Party occurs more often than specified in Customizing.

And one the Thigs that I found out was in Partner Determination procedure There is an option of Block Determination and Log both are checked. Will that be causing this error..

There are huge numbers of error for R3AD_CS_EQU ....

Hello Prakash,

Could you please check if the partner existing in CRM is in sync with the one in ERP system? If they

are different, then the error will occur when the data is trying to be inserted to the CRM system as my reply on Dec.16.

Also, actually, I don't think the "block determination" and the "log" will affect the error.

Could you please let me know the message no. and the message id of the bdoc error? Please provide

us with the screenshot here.

Also, please follow the note 757955 maintaining the function modules via sm30. The entries should be maintained identically with the note, adding the missing entries and removing the excess entries.

Diagnosis

The partner function Ship-To Party occurs more often than has been prescribed in Customizing.

You can identify the conflict with the help of the following data:

• Partner determination/frequency prescribed in the Customizing: ZPDP_OBJ/0001

• Start of the affected period: 12/31/1899-19:00:00

• End of the affected period: 12/31/9999-23:59:59

System Response

The data record cannot be changed.

Error when creating objects

Message no. IB_CRM_UPLOAD_MSG019

Validation error occurred: Module CRM_DEQUI_VAL, BDoc type CRM_EQ_DMBDOC.

Message no. SMW3018

Hello Prakash,

Normally, the error happens when you update the equipment in ERP then the change is replicated to CRM if the partners are not in synchronous. During the process, CRM will assume that the partner is not present in CRM but present in ERP requires to be inserted in CRM and not to be updated.

The "partner function" of partner to be inserted in CRM is read and if there is already an existing "partner function' in CRM that is also read and checked if they are same then a check is performed according to customizing of partner functions in CRM if more than one partner of the same partner function is allowed If it is not allowed then an error occurs as mentioned.

You could

1. make the existing partners of individual object in CRM in sync. with the partners of equipment in ERP before you replicated the equipment.

2. change the customizing for the partner functions that is change the count of allowed partner functions. For eg:- change partner function 'ship to party' allowed maximum count 1 to maximum count 2.
