Make changes to the released appraisal template?

Hello All,

       We have implemented Pre-defined performance management for one of our customers. The template is rolled out and appraisal document is already created and in use.

We know that SAP recommend create a copy of this template, however we want use the same template for generate the appraisal document.

SAP says:

After a template has been released, it cannot be changed unless the status is reset . However, you can only reset the status if no appraisal documents have been created in the system that are based on this appraisal template. Otherwise, the references between the individual appraisal elements are destroyed.

I have made changed using the t.code PP01 and created appraisal document with date 2014, and the system show the test "Hola mundo". and this should show it for appraisal created in the perido 02.02.2015 to 31.12.9999.

Hi,

There is one report using which you can unrelease template even though there are appraisal documents.

If required, share you mail id, i will share complete code.

Note: SAP does not recommend but i have used many time so till now not faces any issue.
