Hi,
Our scenario
Currently we are following multi-level(10 to 15 levels) bill of material for producing a particular finished goods. Every week around 40 finished goods will run in the shop floor. The semi-finished or finished goods used to produce a particular finished goods can also be used to produce some other finished goods at any level. we are following make to order scenario and we used to deliver the finished goods partially to customer.
Based on customer demand we can also do partial planning weekly basis. MRP run is automated every day.
Issue
For planning we need to check what are all the semi-finished goods and raw materials required all the level for around 40 finished material that is planned for a week. we need what is the current on-hand stock for the above and what is the demand and our requirement too.
Kindly update me how can i do planning for total around 40 finished material in our system
Regards,
Paarthiban
Hi Paarthiban,
not sure what is really needed. You can do multi-level MRP planning for all the finished material at the same time in one MRP run.

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your reply
I do know multi-level MRP planning option for finished materials
But due to huge volume of data its very difficult to follow the system generated proposals. So we need a report where i have to see the following consolidated details.
I will give finished materials id may be 10 to 40 finished materials
So that system have to retrieve all the raw materials and semi-finished goods that where used in multi-level Bill of materials
On-hand stock of all the listed materials
Current Demand for all the listed materials
System thrown proposals for all these listed materials
If i get these details it will be easy for me to do weekly plan
Please reply back for further clarifications
Regards,
Paarthiban
Hi Paarthiban,
I think you are looking for information quite similar to that displayed for the 'Sales Order item planning details' UI:
Unfortunately this information is built on top of the pegging information for an individual sales order item.
If you really want the BOM to be the basis for such a UI structure then this could potentially be achived with an add-on development.
Best regards,
Stefan
