MRP Run report

Dear All,

Im having SAP BYD in place.

recently we came out of manual planning to MRP

We all know that MRP determines all demand, available stock & then creates proposal.

Now when proposals are created in bulk, we don't know for what type of demand have generated the Proposal.

Do anyone knows any report which gives data of all proposal created based on what.

Means, if Purchase proposal for product ABC is created for 3 Qty

then we want to know the Source Document of Purchase Requests that is Sales Order No. 1234 has demand of 2 Qty & Safety Stock has demand of 1 Qty = 3 Qty Praposal.

Any Inputs are welcome.

Hello Vishal,

you can for example select a proposal in the supply and demand list of the product planning details and then 'Open Material Flow'. In that UI you see what demand caused creation of the proposal.

You can also go to the Supply Control WoC, select multiple proposals and 'Navigate to - Top-level pegged demand'. This also should provide you with the information needed. The pegging information used for these UIs is created in the MRP run, so it perfectly fits to your requirement.

Thanks for your Reply & its really helpful.

But still i want a report in which i would know which material is planned against which order.

I want to know specific details such as Purchase Proposal is created for Sales Order or for Service Order or for Stock purpose.

We can check this in Product Planning details for one or two products,

but we cant do for all products Planned in Proposals.

There should be a report for it.
