Quota is available in r/3 but applying ess says "no quota available"

Hi Team,

I find in IT 2006 EE has enough quota and valid for the year , whereas when applied via ess , it prompts "no quota available".

Able to apply leave in r/3 and it works. Can anyone through some light on this.

The reason for such differences in processing between R/3 and ESS/MSS would be the functions or routines used to validate in the two environments. This would be when Decoupled Infotypes Framework is not used for the relevant infotype/s - here IT 2001 & 2006.

You may need to log an incident with SAP with full details of input, output and any messages in both environments; you need to persevere in following with SAP. Note here: an incident is what was previously known as an OSS message,

You can debug and see where the differences are; but it it is not easy.

    • Please do not confuse between OSS note and OSS message. Previously any problems were reported to SAP through an OSS message in the SAP Support Portal. Now since many months, this reporting to SAP is through an Incident.

I am suggesting you to log an incident to SAP through SAP Support Portal with all details of input, messages and output; and pursuing with SAP till the issue is resolved. After they provide any corrections with any OSS note, you need to apply the change in Dev, copy the employee to Dev test, test the transaction in Dev test. Note this test is required in both R/3 and ESS.

I am not sure what OSS notes are available to correct this issue.

I have faced same issue around 8 months back.. I tried to debug and found that in standard function to Get Quota in Buffer was causing issue. As it was standard Function module. I would suggest to raise OSS Incident to SAP as Jagan Suggest.

Let SAP respond with correct solution as it is seems standard issue.

Have you checked if leaves are correctly mapped in v_t554s_web?
